ERASMUS+ Student Mobility for Studies Applications Have Begun
Applications for the Erasmus+ Program Mobility for Studies will be accepted for the 2024 project period. In Mobility for Studies, our students will be able to choose higher education institutions with which we have agreements. The departments and quotas of higher education institutions with which we have agreements are listed below.
The planned study mobility quota for the 2024 project period is 4, but this may be increased or decreased depending on the budget.
Students who are ranked will be able to benefit from the program in the Spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. It is important to read the announcement carefully to avoid any problems.

The language score must be at least 60 or equivalent.7
b. In addition to the foreign language exam to be taken, if a foreign language certificate recognized by YÖK is submitted, the equivalent of the language score out of 100 may also be used in the evaluation. The language score certificate must not be older than 5 years as of the application deadline. (If the university to which the application is made requires a Foreign Language Certificate and the submitted certificate is not accepted, the responsibility lies with the applicant). If both a valid language certificate is submitted and the foreign language exam is taken during the application process, the exam score given by the Malatya Turgut Özal University School of Foreign Languages will be taken into consideration.

Evaluation of Applications and Student Selection:
The ranking of students will be based on a total score calculated as 50% of their Academic Grade Point Average out of 100 and 50% of the score obtained from the Foreign Language Proficiency Test. Students will be ranked based on the calculated total score within the quotas specified in the existing agreements and contracts, with each department ranking its own students.
Scoring
1. If a student has previously benefited from the program at the same level of education, 10 points will be deducted from the student's total score for each activity, and the resulting score will be used for evaluation.
2. For students who were selected in a previous selection period within the same level of education but did not carry out their activity without a compelling reason, a deduction of 10 points will be applied for each activity that was not carried out, even though they were eligible. If the higher education institution allows students a period of time to notify them of their withdrawal, and the students notify them of their withdrawal within this period, no reduction will be applied. The deadline for those who wish to withdraw from the program after being selected is September 15, 2025.
Starting from the 2018-2019 academic year, students who are eligible to benefit from the Erasmus+ Program but fail to notify their withdrawal by the deadline for withdrawal will have 10 points deducted from their total score if they apply to the Erasmus+ Program during the 2024 project period.
3. A deduction of 10 points will be applied to the Erasmus score in cases of mobility participation in the country of citizenship.
4. Students who have been granted protection, care, or shelter under the Social Services Law No. 2828 and the Child Protection Law No. 5395 will have +10 points added to their Erasmus points.
5. Students with disabilities (provided that the disability is documented) will have +10 points added to their Erasmus points.
6. An additional +15 points will be added to the Erasmus points of children of martyrs and veterans.
7. For students selected for mobility: If a student fails to attend meetings/training sessions organized by the higher education institution regarding mobility without a valid reason, a 5-point deduction will be applied to their subsequent applications (applies if the student reapplies for Erasmus).
8. If a student declares they will take a language exam but fails to do so without a valid reason, 5 points will be deducted from their subsequent applications (applies if the student reapplies for Erasmus).
