Staff Mobility for Study Mobility
Erasmus+ Staff mobility is carried out in two ways: Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA) and Staff Mobility for Staff Training (STT).
As defined in the Handbook, Staff Training Mobility is an activity that allows any staff member employed in a higher education institution in Turkey with ECHE to receive training in one of the program countries. Within the scope of this activity, it is possible to receive various trainings (such as on-the-job trainings, observation processes) in order to improve the skills that the person has in subjects related to his/her current job. It is not necessary to have an Erasmus+ agreement for this activity, so mobility can be carried out in any country and institution that is a Program country. However, conference participations are not considered as part of the training activity.
Staff training is a full-time activity and grants are paid for full-time training periods. Therefore, in the Staff Mobility For Training (Mobility Agreement), the training program must be specified on a day-by-day basis. The duration of the activity for staff mobility is set by the European Commission as a minimum of 2 consecutive working days and a maximum of 2 months, excluding travel.
In the certificate of participation, the beneficiary must indicate the duration of the activity for less than 2 days, except for force majeure.

The duration of the activity must be uninterrupted. In internship mobility, the internship may be interrupted if the company where the internship is carried out is closed due to a holiday. The grant payment will be made for the period when the business is closed, but the period of closure will not be added to the activity period. In order to ensure the minimum activity period, it is necessary to investigate in advance the dates on which the enterprise to be interned will be closed and make sure that the minimum period is met even after subtracting the holiday period. Weekend holidays are not vacation time to be subtracted from the activity period.
In student internship mobility, in cases where it is seen in the certificate of participation that the beneficiary has carried out the activity for less than 2 months, the activity is considered invalid and no grant payment is made to the beneficiary.
The student who is found to have carried out less than 2 months of activity in the certificate of participation must return all the grant received.
