Erasmus+ Staff mobility is carried out in two ways: Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA) and Staff Mobility for Staff Training (STT).

As defined in the Handbook, Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments is a field of activity that allows a staff member who is obliged to teach at a higher education institution with ECHE in Turkey to teach students at a higher education institution with ECHE in one of the program countries and to carry out academic/educational activities related to teaching jointly with the other institution. For this reason, we must have an Erasmus+ agreement with the destination university for teaching mobility.

Since staff teaching mobility is a day-based activity, grants are paid for the days of teaching. Therefore, the teaching program must be specified on a day-by-day basis in the Staff Mobility For Teaching- Mobility Agreement. The duration of the activity is set by the European Commission as a minimum of 2 consecutive working days and a maximum of 2 months, excluding travel. However, in order for the activity to be considered as a valid activity, at least 8 teaching hours must be taught. In cases where the activity is longer than 1 week, the number of compulsory teaching hours should increase in proportion to the duration.

In cases where it is seen in the certificate of participation that the beneficiary has carried out the activity for less than 2 days and/or has given less hours of lectures than he/she should have given, the activity is considered invalid and no grant payment will be made to the beneficiary. In case the staff member returns earlier than the planned mobility activity period due to force majeure (such as compelling reasons, family reasons, health reasons, natural disasters), the grant covering the period of stay abroad and travel expenses are paid. If more than the grant calculated for the period of stay is paid, the excess amount is requested to be refunded.

No grant payment is made for the days that do not include any activity or cannot be documented as appropriate activity.

The daily/weekly grant amount to be given to the staff who will benefit from staff mobility is calculated by taking into account the amounts specified in the table below according to the country of destination and the duration of the visit. The staff who will benefit from mobility; 7 days of grant payment is made for 5 activity days and 2 days of travel. The amounts shown in the table are in Euro.

The distance calculator should be sent to Malatya Turgut Özal University and the km value between the two points where the institution where the activity is carried out should be determined and the travel grant should be calculated with the table below. The mileage shown in the distance calculator is the grant summary round-trip figure in the table below, and the amount in question is not multiplied by two. If the personnel travels with a transfer, it does not affect the distance reached with the above-mentioned distance programming.
